Privacy Policy for Snipmoji
This Privacy Policy describes how miramiao (“we”, “us”; www.miramiao.com) handles your information when you use Snipmoji (the “App”).
The short version
We do not collect, store or receive any of your data. The App has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no servers of our own. The photos you pick and the stickers you make stay on your device.
Your photos and creations
Photos, Live Photos and videos you use in the App, and everything you make from them (such as stickers, wallpapers and Home Screen widgets), are processed and stored only on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Subject detection uses Apple's Vision framework on the device. What you make is kept in the App's own storage, including what its Home Screen widgets display, and is written to your Photos library only when you choose to save it there.
Permissions the App may ask for
- Photos (add only) — used only when you choose to save something to Photos. Picking photos goes through the system picker and does not require access to your whole library.
- Camera — used only if you choose to take a photo for a sticker.
Send to WeChat
If you tap “Send to WeChat”, the App hands the sticker to the WeChat app through Tencent's official WeChat Open Platform SDK, and you choose the recipient inside WeChat. From that point WeChat's privacy policy applies. The SDK is only invoked when you tap that button, and we receive nothing from it.
Copy and share
“Copy” places the sticker on the system clipboard; “Share” opens the iOS share sheet. How the destination app handles the image is governed by that app's privacy policy.
Keeping and deleting your data
Everything the app creates is stored only on your device. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete. To remove all of it, delete the app; iOS removes its storage with it. Anything you exported to Photos or handed to another app stays there until you delete it in that app. Permissions you granted can be withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security.
Tracking
The App does not track you, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not share data with other companies for advertising or analytics.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and since we collect no data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes are reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
