Privacy Policy for Snipmoji
This Privacy Policy describes how miramiao (“we”, “us”; www.miramiao.com) handles your information when you use Snipmoji (the “App”).
The short version
We do not collect, store or receive any of your data. The App has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no servers of our own. The photos you pick and the stickers you make stay on your device.
Photos and stickers
Photos, Live Photos and videos you pick are processed only on your device: subject detection uses Apple's Vision framework locally and nothing is uploaded. Finished stickers are stored inside the App and are written to your Photos library only when you tap “Save to Photos”.
Permissions the App may ask for
- Photos (add only) — used only when you tap “Save to Photos”. Picking photos goes through the system picker and does not require access to your whole library.
- Camera — used only if you choose to take a photo for a sticker.
Send to WeChat
If you tap “Send to WeChat”, the App hands the sticker to the WeChat app through Tencent's official WeChat Open Platform SDK, and you choose the recipient inside WeChat. From that point WeChat's privacy policy applies. The SDK is only invoked when you tap that button, and we receive nothing from it.
Copy and share
“Copy” places the sticker on the system clipboard; “Share” opens the iOS share sheet. How the destination app handles the image is governed by that app's privacy policy.
Tracking
The App does not track you, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not share data with other companies for advertising or analytics.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and since we collect no data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes are reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
